Travis Love

Mr. Love has been sharing his passion for the performing arts with students for the past twenty years. In addition to his Masters in Education, Dance Teaching degree from the Royal Academy of Dance, Travis holds his Licentiate Certificate (LCCA) from the Cecchetti Council of America. In the beginning of his performance career, Travis danced professionally with regional ballet and modern companies in Pennsylvania, rising up to soloist roles in productions such as The Nutcracker, Cinderella, and Hansel and Gretel. He then transitioned into Musical Theater: Wizard of Oz, Guys and Dolls, Legally Blonde, and Hello Dolly. Choreography credits include: Heathers, Little Women, Music Man, and Anything Goes. While his performance experience is vast both in repertoire and style, his love for teaching has always been at the forefront of his dance experience. Travis is the former director of the dance programs at Linden Hall, the nation's oldest all girls college prep school. Additionally, Travis has also served as the Artistic Director and Founder of Footprints Performing Arts, as a Member at Large and Conference Administrator for the Cecchetti East Coast Board of Directors, and choreographer in residence at La Salle University in addition to other schools. He is continually inspired by his students, peers, and the beautiful ever-changing language of dance.
