Naomi Sailors

A native of Fremont, California, Naomi Sailors received her training at various schools around the Bay Area, most notably Ballet San Jose School under Dalia Rawson, Le Mai Linh and Mads Eriksen. She has danced professionally with several companies including The New Ballet, Menlowe Ballet, San Jose Dance Theatre, Western Ballet, and Oceanica Ballet, and is currently a full time company artist with Peninsula Ballet Theatre. Notable repertoire at Peninsula Ballet Theatre includes Snow Queen in The Nutcracker, Maria Elena in Gregory Amato’s Ghost Dances, Death in Marika Brussel’s Unleashed, and roles in Carmina Burana and Carmen. Naomi is also one of the founding directors of em(body) Dance Project, and choreographs commissioned works around the Bay Area. Additionally, she is a certified instructor in the Gyrotonic Method and ABT National Training Curriculum Levels Primary - 5.
