Amanda began dancing at a local studio in her hometown of Athens, GA when she was nine years old. She trained primarily in ballet, jazz, and contemporary, with ballet remaining her favorite over the years. With a desire to share her passion of dance with others, Amanda began teaching youth ballet classes when she was in high school.

While studying at the University of Georgia, Amanda picked up a new interest: ballroom dancing. Amanda participated in UGA’s Ballroom Performance Group and two other ballroom dance groups while continuing to teach youth ballet classes at her studio. She has found that her background in ballet has helped her build technique in other styles of dance, as well as provided her with discipline and dedication in areas outside of dance. Amanda moved to the Bay Area in February of 2019 after graduating with her BBA in Marketing at the University of Georgia. She is very excited to have found a dance community where she can continue to share her passion of ballet with young dancers.
